New-VsanFileShareSnapshot

This cmdlet creates a vSAN file share snapshot for the specified vSAN file share.

Syntax

New-VsanFileShareSnapshot

Parameters

Specifies the name of the vSAN file share snapshot.

Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of the Connect-VIServer cmdlet.

Example 1

Creates a vSAN file share snapshot named "FileShareSnapshot1" for the $fileShare file share.
