New-DatastoreCluster

This cmdlet creates a new datastore cluster. By default, Storage DRS is deactivated. To enable Storage DRS, run Set-DatastoreCluster.

Syntax

New-DatastoreCluster

Parameters

Specifies a container object (Datacenter or Folder) where you want to place the new datastore cluster.

Specifies a name for the datastore cluster that you want to create.

Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of Connect-VIServer.
