Get-ApplianceBackupJob

This cmdlet retrieves a list of finished or currently running backup jobs.

Syntax

Get-ApplianceBackupJob
[-EndDate < DateTime > ]
[-Id < String[] > ]
[-Server < VIServer[] > ]
[-StartDate < DateTime > ]
[CommonParameters]

Parameters

Required Parameter Name Type Position Features Description
optional EndDate DateTime named
Retrieves backup jobs with end time later than the provided time.
optional Id String[] named
Retrieves backup jobs whose IDs match the specified IDs.
optional Server VIServer[] named
Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of Connect-VIServer.
optional StartDate DateTime named
Retrieves backup jobs with start time later than the provided time.

Examples

Example 1

Get-ApplianceBackupJob

List all backup jobs.

Example 2

Get-ApplianceBackupJob -StartDate (Get-Date).AddDays(-1)

List all backup jobs that have started since yesterday or will start in the future.

Example 3

Get-ApplianceBackupJob -EndDate (Get-Date).AddDays(-1)

List all backup jobs that have finished since yesterday or will finish in the future.
