Remove-TagCategory

This cmdlet removes the specified tag categories from the server.Note: This will remove all tags in the category and any assignments of these tags.

Syntax

Remove-TagCategory
-Category < TagCategory[] >

Parameters

Specifies the categories you want to remove.

Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of Connect-VIServer.

Get-TagCategory "MyTagCategory" | Remove-TagCategory

Retrieves a tag category named "MyTagCategory" and then removes it from the vCenter Server system.
