Start-HCXMigration

This cmdlet starts the HCX (Hybrid Cloud Extension) migrations.

Syntax

Start-HCXMigration
-Migration < HCXMigration[] >
[-ProgressAction < ActionPreference > ]
[-Server < HcxServer[] > ]

Parameters

Migration HCXMigration[] named
  • pipeline
Specifies the list of migration requests. If you want to retrieve a migration request, use the New-HCXMigration cmdlet.
optional ProgressAction ActionPreference named
optional Server HcxServer[] named
Specifies the HCX Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of the Connect-HCXServer cmdlet.

Examples

Example 1

Start-HCXMigration -Migration $migration1,$migration2

Starts the HCX migrations for the $migration1 and $migration2 values.
