Overview
The vSphere Management SDK is a bundle that contains a set of vSphere software development kits: vSphere Web Services SDK, vSphere Storage Policy SDK, vSphere Storage Management SDK, vSphere ESX Agent Manager SDK, and SSO Client SDK. These SDKs provide documentation, libraries, and code examples needed for developers to rapidly build solutions integrated with VMware virtualization platforms.

The vSphere Management SDK is available as a Zip file for Windows and Linux. Code samples are provided for Java development.
Note: Starting with the VCF 9.0 release, the vSphere Management SDK for Java will no longer be released as a standalone SDK. Instead, it is now integrated into the VCF Java SDK. To enhance the developer experience, the VIM and VSAN Management SDKs have been merged into a single WSDL specification and Java module. This integration reduces code duplication and simplifies interoperability between the VIM and VSAN APIs.
