Overview
The VMware HTML Console SDK can add basic plugin-independent console functionality to an existing web user interface running on VMware vSphere. With this SDK, users interact with a virtual machine console using keyboard and mouse input.
The HTML Console SDK (WebMKS) is compatible with vSphere versions 7.0 and later. Client and guest keyboards supported: US English, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (pt_pt), French, Swiss-French, and Swiss-German.
This is the final release of this SDK. When VMware customers need to connect with a virtual machine console, they can download and install the VMware Remote Console (VMRC) instead of the HTML Console SDK.
