Cloud Director OSE (Object Storage Extension) API

Object Storage Extension for VMware Cloud Director opens a set of APIs for users to automate object storage workflows instead of operating the provider and tenant portals of Object Storage Extension.

• S3 API: S3 compatible APIs for bucket and object operations.
• Provider Administration API: Administrative APIs for provider administrator to configure the system.
• Tenant Administration API: Administrative APIs for tenant administrator to configure the tenant.
• Tenant User API: APIs for tenant users to manage user credentials, solution backup, restore and so on.
• OSIS API: Object Storage Interoperability Service API for 3rd party Object Storage ISVs to implement and integrate with OSE.
