Type of alert found during segmentation analysis. Use POST .../analysis-alerts filtered by alert_type to review specific issues.

Notes:

  • TAG_SCOPE_OVERLAP: Two or more hierarchy columns map to the same tag scope. Review CsvColumnMappings hierarchy scopes for conflicts.
  • MULTIPLE_TAGS_PER_SCOPE: An asset row has multiple values for the same scope level; only the first is used.
  • EMPTY_RESOLVE_RESULT: The asset identifier did not match any NSX entity; that asset will be excluded from proposed groups.
  • MULTIPLE_RESOLVE_ENTITIES: The asset identifier matched more than one NSX entity; all matches are included.
  • GROUP_ALREADY_PROMOTED: The NSX group targeted for promotion is already a segmentation object from a different session.
  • PROMOTION_HIERARCHY_ALREADY_EXISTS: A segmentation object with the same hierarchy tags already exists; promotion was skipped.
  • MULTIPLE_PROMOTIONS_PER_GROUP: The same NSX group is targeted for promotion by more than one row; only the first is applied.
  • ENV_GROUP_LIMIT_REACHED: The maximum number of environment groups per policy has been reached; additional groups were not created.
  • PROMOTION_GROUP_CRITERIA_MISMATCH: The existing group's membership criteria do not match expected tag-based criteria for promotion.
